Surfaces, materials and the beauty of the imperfect

It’s Friday the 30th of June and today I am in Malling – standing at the doorstep to Gitte’s workshop and really looking forward to seeing her again. Gitte is a textile designer, paper artist and visual communicator. She teaches and experiments with textures, materials and surfaces – and she simply loves the phase in a project where you get got prepare it all – bringing the concept together.
It is not the first time I’m in her workshop, actually I have been here often during spring, because I asked her to help me out writing a good and complete application for this particular project – the zine project.

We talked about how important it is to have a workshop where materials are available at all times, doing projects with likeminded and following your intuition.
