The hallowed halls of letterpress printing

I found the hallowed halls of letterpress printing in Denmark – they are located in Holsted.
It is Sunday the 2nd of July and I’ve headed towards Holsted to meet Jens Jørgen in his own workshop. I’ve known Jens since 2013 where I first lay my eyes on letterpress printing and together with a good friend launched a poster shop with handprinted posters. Jens was a great help and inspiration when we launched Dybsort – the handprinted poster shop.

Jens is a Letterpress printer with a capital L – and as he describes it; It's not a hobby. It's not a job. It is me. It’s who I am.

We talked about letterpress printing, being true to the craft – yet still challenging it and finding new ways – and sharing these new ways or methods with the letterpres community.
