Monday the 26th of June – still sunshine and still located in Svendborg. Today to meet with Thomas who runs a small screen print studio called Trykværkstedet. Thomas prints all kinds of cool stuff like band merch, T-shirts and art posters. I have known about the print studio for several years, and Thomas has for the last 4 years printed a bunch of t-shirts for me – always hand pulled and with water based colors. Besides being cool and really nice, Thomas has opened his workshop and let me borrow equipment to practice screen printing. Humbly grateful for that. Actually.
We talked about the process of creating, finding inspiration in old Iron Maiden tees and Skateboard artwork and the humble satisfaction it is to start a business, that you can make a living from.
