Next up > Letterpress

It’s Saturday the 2nd of September and I’m on my way to Holsted to finish the pages in the zine containing letterpress designs. A little nerve wrecking to be honest, as we have not yet received the pages from the RISO studio. The printed pages are somewhere between Copenhagen and Holsted, and we need them today to be on schedule – and so we can finish this step during this weekend.

First up is a poster with a line from a song - the line is to be set with almost 100-year-old wooden letters – and an additional sentence with lead letters.
I love that I bring the ideas from home, but the actual design process takes place in the workshop – where the colors and the letters are. I am more pleased with the tiny errors than Jens is, so we had to find a way to print, where we were both satisfied. I think we managed to do so.

We got the risoprinted pages, and everything worked out. I am pleased with the result and it was a great weekend getting a lot of work done.
